BACKGROUND: THE HEILBRONN-FRANKEN REGION
In the economic region of Heilbronn – Franconia, 42.5% of the workforce is employed in the manufacturing industry, which underlines the strong influence of the automotive and supplier industry. Technical changes, supply chains, digitization processes, and a shortage of skilled workers pose major challenges for companies. With TRANSFORMOTIVE, these are tackled effectively and jointly in the region by bundling regional forces.
TRANSFORMOTIVE has set itself the goal of creating opportunities for companies to develop a stable future perspective to ultimately build their own holistic mobility economy.
The focus of TRANSFORMOTIVE is particularly on the transformation of industry, as well as sustainable mobility and energy.
THAT'S HOW WE APPROACH IT!
The Heilbronn Region Economic Development Agency, the Heilbronn-Franken Economic Region and the Alliance for Transformation with its partners are looking forward to establishing intensive contact with companies in the region to master future challenges together. As a growing network, we want to develop solutions and ideas that shape the further path of transformation into a new era of automotive mobility for all parties involved.
In the TRANSFORMOTIVE project, we will not only ensure compliance with the procurement guidelines and specifications in the area of project management, but also the budget, the time schedule, and the work plan. The project management also sets up online tools for informing participants, exchanging data, and collaboratively working. In order to ensure the achievement of objectives in this context and to react directly to changed framework conditions, project management runs over the entire period.
Communication is the cornerstone for the success of a project because only through this important information can be shared, contacts maintained, and networks established. All current information about TRANSFORMOTIVE can be found in a target group-oriented manner on all common channels, such as social media, in newsletters, information flyers as well as in mailings and personal conversations. Access to a broad professional public is additionally achieved through the participation and design of major events.
Transformation is not an end in itself, but a process of adaptation to changing conditions necessary for the future of business and society. Therefore, in the TRANSFORMOTIVE project, we will always keep a watchful eye on the current delta between entrepreneurial reality and the necessary target state through continuous GAP analysis. In this way, we ensure a situation-related adjustment of the transformation priorities and thus an efficient use of resources.
The idea of networking and acting as a joint association is the central approach of TRANSFORMOTIVE. The aim is to create a strong, effective network with a focus on transformation toward sustainability. Networking is intended to ensure that companies get to know each other and build trust in order to initiate joint projects. Against the background of the seriousness of economic change, insight into the necessity of transformation is the key to shaping the future.
The basis for a successful project is a good data basis that can be used in the course of project work. Based on this data, strategies will then be developed in regional consensus for the future action lines of corporate development, qualification, and mobility region in the further course of TRANSFORMOTIVE.
For the TRANSFORMOTIVE project to go beyond the step of strategic and conceptual consideration of the transformation process, an overall package of measures will be developed that should lead to concrete implementation steps at both the company and the network level.
